My main difference at Yachtsailing Brokers is I am a Licenced Dealer in QLD and we act legaly and Licensed and protect your interest as a seller and a buyer unlike interstate brokers or some local brokers who are not licensed ($26,690 fine). Also when I have a buyer I am available 24 hours 7 days a week to show them the boat and sort out any conditions, sea trials, contracts to purchase ect.
Yachtsailing Brokers also provide advertising on Yachthub.com.au, Boatsonline.com.au, Gumtree.com.au Facebook Ads, Tradeaboat and Yachtsailing.com.au websites.
All new listings are emailed to our past buyers, sellers and contacts over 3500 people in our database.
Most importantly Yachtsailing Brokers only operate with WRITTEN CONTRACTS and on the basis that all OFFERS to PURCHASE are accompanied with deposits.
Generally, the Offer to Purchase is made subject to Sea Trial and Survey. You then accept or countersign the offer. Once an agreement is reached, Yachtsailing Brokers will go about fulfilling and removing any “subject to” articles. The buyers will have total confidence and clarity of all disclosures.
Yachtsailing Brokers will also conduct the sea trial with you and ensure the event goes smoothly. We will help facilitate the survey process and be on hand during the inspection to ensure any issues are quickly resolved.
Myself I have over 30 years in professional sales and yacht sailing and some racing. I own a 41-foot yacht “Wizard” located in in Able Point Marina Airlie in winter and Bundaberg Port Marina in Summer. So there is a good chance we will meet somewhere if your a new buyer or past seller. I know over the years that we upgrade and downgrade our boats. So if your experience is great now then I will be asking for your future business as a buyer or seller.
